Like most people in New Zealand, the team behind Shaio has been touched personally by cancer. We know what it’s like to deal with this horrible disease, and we know first-hand the courage that’s involved. We’ve met many sufferers, and their bravery is nothing less than inspirational.We are passionate about supporting people suffering from cancer as well as the heroes who provide medical care and treatment to those with the disease. So with every sale we make, 50% of the profits will go towards charities around the country, to help with some of the everyday challenges these people are facing.

LENDING A HAND TO CANCER SUFFERER'S
SHOPCancer is our country's single biggest cause of death. Most New Zealanders will have some experience of it –either personally or through a relative or friend.
In Aotearoa, approximately 25,000 people are diagnosed with cancer each year. Our population is growing and ageing and, because cancer is more common among older people, we can expect the number of New Zealanders with cancer to grow over time. Approximately 9,000 Kiwi's will die from cancer each year.
